# Competitor/integrator lead generation

Everyone reacting to the posts of a competitor, or of a tool that sits next to yours, is active in your market right now.

## What it watches

The LinkedIn page of a **competitor**, or of a **tool or platform next to yours** — an integration partner, a neighbour in the stack. Every sync picks up who reacted to or commented on their recent posts.

Competitors and adjacent tools used to be two separate signals. They work exactly the same way, so they are one signal now: you decide which companies to follow.

## Who becomes the lead

The **engagers** — the people around that company, not the company itself. People who work at the company you follow are left out: they are its staff, not its audience. A person signal: they reacted or commented themselves, and messaging may reference that engagement.

FounderMCP's wording stays neutral about the company behind the post. It never assumes the person is comparing you with a competitor, and never claims a live integration with a tool.

## What you configure

One or more companies or people to follow. Under the first company you pick, **Load employees** lists the people who work there, so you can follow their posts in the same signal.

## Who can become a lead

Who may become a lead — role, title, topic and country — with nothing narrowed until you narrow it. There is no HubSpot gate: someone engaging with a competitor or a tool next to yours is in your market, whether you know them or not.

## Syncing

Recurring — daily or weekly per row, plus Sync now.
