Getting Started

Quickstart

From an empty account to your first synced leads in about ten minutes.

After signing in you land on Signals. That page is the engine room of Geteem: every row is one signal, and everything else — leads, templates, conversations — flows from what you configure here.

1. Add your first signal

Use the row at the bottom of the Signals table to add a signal. A panel opens with the signal types, grouped by what you point at:

  • Change — something just happened: a job change, someone new in a role, a funding round.
  • Competition — someone else's audience: a competitor's engagers, the users of an adjacent tool.
  • Conversation — your market talking: keyword posts, brand mentions, conferences, groups.

Not sure where to start? Engagers with my content is the gentlest first signal — it harvests the people who already react to your own posts. Competitor lead generation is the classic second one.

2. Point it at a source

Each type asks for its own source: a company page, a search query, a watchlist, a role and region. The type pages in this documentation describe exactly what each signal expects.

3. Decide who can become a lead

Most types end with the same question: who can become a lead? You can gate by job title, country, or whether the person already exists in your HubSpot. Every gate starts switched off — nothing is filtered until you turn a gate on. Some roles in the role list unfold into variants you can untick, so "founders, but not plain CEOs" is a choice, not a workaround.

4. Sync

Signals sync on a schedule — daily or weekly, set per row — and you can trigger any signal by hand with Sync now in the row menu. A syncing row pulses until the harvest lands. A few types have their own rhythm: Companies using a technology runs once, Leads that raised funding refreshes monthly.

5. Watch Leads fill

Open Leads while a sync runs and you'll see people drip in as they are enriched: profile, company, contact details, and the reason they surfaced. A lead exists from the moment the sync creates it; enrichment fills the columns.

6. Give the signal a voice

On Templates, create a template for the signal type you just configured: pick a channel strategy (for example LinkedIn request → message → InMail, or an email sequence) and write the text per step. New leads of that type get their opening message drafted from it.
