Signals

Every row on the Signals page is one signal: a source, a buying moment, and a schedule.

The Signals page is where Geteem starts. Each row is one signal; the row at the bottom adds a new one. The Leads counter opens that signal's leads. The two constraint columns open the signal itself, each on its own side: Company constraints on what it looks for, Lead constraints on who may become a lead — and Edit signal in the row menu opens both at once.

The catalogue

Signal types are grouped by what you point at.

Change — something just happened:

Competition — someone else's audience:

Conversation — your market talking:

A few more types are built but not in the picker yet; see Coming soon.

Syncs and schedules

The Sync column shows each signal's rhythm: daily, weekly, or off. Geteem passes by every hour and harvests the rows that are due; Sync now in the row menu harvests immediately. While a sync runs, the row pulses, and the leads counter fills in once the harvest lands.

Two types have their own rhythm: Companies using a technology harvests once, when you add it; Leads that raised funding refreshes monthly, with Sync now available in between.

Who can become a lead

Most types end their setup with the same two questions: who may become a lead, and what HubSpot should do with them. Nothing is narrowed until you narrow it — a signal you leave alone lets everyone through. The minimum ICP score is not asked here: it is set once for your whole workspace on Settings → ICP and applies to every signal.

Company signals ask Select Department: the departments show as badges, and you pick one. Each sync then looks for the top decision-makers in that department at every company it found, at most three per company.

Want something narrower than a department, like founders only or a specific title? Use Select Role(s) underneath: pick from the suggestions or type your own. Those are searched word for word, in the language you type them, and they replace the department — while a department also covers its Dutch and French titles. The two sides exclude each other: filling one dims the other, and the dimmed side says on hover what is in the way.

You see those same two badges when you open an existing company signal from the table, so what you set is what you read back.

Two special cases: Activity of competitor sales uses only the HubSpot gate (the whole point of that signal is whether you already know the account), and Tracking your champions has no gates at all — the watchlist itself is the selection.

From signal to message

Each harvested person lands on Leads with the reason they surfaced, and the template for that signal type drives their opening message. Signal → sync → lead → template: that chain is the product.
